Getting Started
Plan your full session before hitting Start — add all your tasks first, then run them in order.
- Use the Choose Preset dropdown to fill the task name instantly, or type your own
- Pick a duration using the quick-pick buttons (5 – 180 min) or type a custom number
- Hit + Add Timer — it appears in the grid (up to 12 tasks)
- Repeat until your session is fully planned, then press Start on the first task
Task Name Presets
The Choose Preset dropdown gives you 20 built-in task names to pick from — selecting one fills the name field instantly so you can add tasks without typing.
- The first option is blank — select it to clear the field and type freely
- Click Edit Task Name Presets below the Add Timer button to customise the list
- One preset per line — save and your custom list is remembered across sessions
- Use Reset to defaults inside the editor to restore the built-in list
Running Your Session
- Hit ▶ Start on any timer to begin — only one runs at a time
- Starting a new timer automatically pauses the current one
- ⏸ Pause freezes the clock — ▶ Resume picks up where you left off
- +5 adds five minutes mid-task without breaking your flow
- ✓ Done marks a task complete early and triggers the completion alarm
- When a timer finishes naturally, an alarm sounds and the card turns green
Staying on Track
Hover over the clock to see your projected finish time — the exact time you'll be done if you complete every remaining task without stopping.
Enable Auto-Chain in the header to automatically start the next idle timer when the current one finishes — great for powering through a session hands-free.
Focus Modes
Click the Focus button in the header to cycle through three modes:
- Normal — full view, all timers and sidebar visible
- Focus (indigo) — sidebar hidden, empty slots hidden, just your active timers
- Ultra Focus (purple) — full-screen single-task immersion. The active timer fills the screen with a large ring and clock. Only Pause, Done, and +5 are shown. Press Esc or the Exit button (top-right) to return
If no timer is running when you enter Ultra Focus, a picker appears so you can choose which task to lock onto.
Managing Your Grid
- Drag any timer card by its header to reorder tasks on the fly
- Click the dustbin icon (top-right of each card) to remove a timer
- Use the quick-time buttons at the bottom of each card to change duration before it starts
Sounds
- Start — click sound when you press Start
- Completion alarm — chord when a timer finishes
- Clock ticking — soft tick every second while running
- Chime — gentle chime at your chosen interval as a progress nudge
Use the 🎵 button in the header to mute everything at once.
Templates
- Add your tasks as normal, then type a name in the Templates section and hit Save
- Load any template to instantly restore that full set of tasks
- Great for recurring routines — Morning, Deep Work, Admin Day, etc.
Session Analysis
Click the chart icon in the header to view your analytics. You'll see today's completed tasks with planned vs actual time, plus a week-at-a-glance bar chart showing your daily focus totals.
To wipe your history, use Reset Accomplishments in the Session section of the sidebar — you'll be asked to confirm twice before anything is deleted.
Tips for Best Results
Plan the whole session first. Treat it like a mission — map out every task before you start the clock.
Use the projected finish time to check if your plan is realistic before committing.
Auto-Chain + Ultra Focus is the ultimate flow-state combo — lock in and let it run.
Hit +5 rather than stopping when a task runs long — keeps momentum without losing your place.
Save a template for every routine — Morning, Deep Work, Admin — and reload in one click each day.
